While some Call of Duty players were hoping to get Zombies for the ongoing game Modern Warfare II, it seems like Activision’s latest installment has got its own alternative instead. But what could be more scary than witnessing zombies? Ghosts? Yes. And now, there’s one in the current title!

A recent sighting by a Call of Duty player in one of the Multiplayer maps of the newest game has revealed an unusually haunting paranormal activity. At least, that’s what seems to be the case going by a Redditor who shared their nightmarish experience online while revealing an actual video.

Is there actually an in-game ghost roaming around in Call of Duty Modern Warfare II?

Ever since its awaited launch worldwide, last year, Infinity Ward’s sequel to 2019’s rebooted Modern Warfare has mostly succeeded in swaying the players. After all, it is the best-selling video game of 2022 – that just shows the level of popularity the latest entry in the action series has amassed in the last few months of its record-breaking debut.

While the game has been pretty amazing, there are many Call of Duty players who have complained regarding various bugs in Modern Warfare II. And that’s true as well, given the fact that it’s not been too long since its release. This implies that the ongoing game will definitely keep having issues that the developers might end up resolving going forward. But a recent experience of one player, in particular, has sparked new theories flying in the air about the current installment.

Recently, a Reddit user, who is known as u/Neon_Moons, shared a video from their Multiplayer gameplay session of MWII. The clip shows them in a match inside one of the maps available in the title, which is called Taraq. It is basically an abandoned area giving out eerie vibes. There’s a section in it with a graveyard as well.

In their video, Neon_Moons tried to explain that they encountered a scary paranormal activity while being in Taraq during an online match. “I’ve been so scared I haven’t touched the game since”, read the title of the post by this user.

The user is seen going towards a ruined building when they spot a black hand hanging down over a doorway. As Neon_Moons approaches the doorway, this unexplained ghostly figure is seen coming down a little further. However, when he turns around to see this charred figure, the user sees nothing but a ruined roof. There was no one in the place where he first saw the scary body.

Well, this ghost sighting can be a possible easter egg that got left inside the game due to some sort of weird reason. Even if it is a rare occurrence, though, it can become a great new content for Modern Warfare II’s future to keep the players engaged.
