Infinity Ward has left no choice for fans to hate the game, as the franchise has been trying out unique marketing techniques for the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. In the past few weeks, COD’s twitter page posted different sightings of the Modern Warfare 2’s logo from across the world.
The notable ones included a sound wave, a two-building photo, a crosswalk, and a packet of Mike and Ike’s. It just shows how eager fans are toward the release of this title, as they can make its logo out of anything. Looking at this, Infinity Ward raised the stakes with a new marketing campaign.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare II visiting the streets of London!
On May 24th, fans welcomed the return of some of the iconic characters of TaskForce 141, as the franchise finally revealed them. But that soon became history as the Infinity Ward made them appear through the streets of London. Twitter user Samuelroukin reported this on his Twitter account as he posted a video showing the same. It helped fans to see different characters of Taskforce 141 on some of London’s iconic landmarks. They included the Tower Bridge, The Gherkin, The Shard, and St. Paul’s Cathedral.

The faces featured the original Captain Price alongside Sgt. John ‘Soap’ MacTavish, Colonel Alejandro Vargas, and the most loved, ‘Ghost.’ It was indeed a breathtaking movement as the franchise has never done something like this before. Also, it won’t be wrong to say that they are leaving no room for error with their upcoming release.?

Apart from showcasing the Taskforce in London, the franchise did the same for their french fans and American fans. Captain Price and co. were spotted on the historical monuments of Paris last night. Some of the popular ones include the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Louvre, and the La Conciergerie.?

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 will be out on October 28th, 2022. It will be available on multiple platforms, such as PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.?
