Talking about the contents of the latest season in detail, there’s actually quite a lot to spend time on. Especially compared to the previous season and how long did it take to reach its end. The new update has introduced a brand new original map for Warzone 2 in Ashika Island. The latter is available as part of the returning Resurgence mode (from the original Warzone).
Moreover, Call of Duty Modern Warfare II’s Multiplayer has also received four new maps along with fan-favorite modes like Hard Core and Ranked Play. And yes, six new core MP modes are also revealed. Some of them will be unveiled going forward in Season 2.
Given the amount of content offered, it looks like the players themselves are also very happy. At least that appears to be the case going by popular streamer and insider Modern Warzone’s recent poll. Following the reveal of Season 2, he decided to find out if it was a hit or miss among the fans. Well, here’s the result of the poll, clearly implying that the latest update has finally managed to impress the players after a long time.

Everything besides the battle pass is a major w. Wish stats carried over from season 1 but all good. Love the resurgence map though

But we shouldn't still be asking for things that made WZ1 great, these things should be in WZ2 already. (TTK increases, lootable perks, portable buys, redeploy balloons, etc..) @InfinityWard @RavenSoftware
