It seems like it has presumably been in the game since its release, but it’s only being discovered and shared now. A Redditor, known as u/JarlOfRivia, recently took to the social platform to drop an image. However, what’s interesting about this image is that it showed an Operator named Nova with a mysterious tattoo.

Well, this tattoo is nothing but a Harry Potter easter egg, according to the Reddit user. They mentioned that Operator Nova has got a tattoo from the movie Harry Potter Deathly Hallows on her left arm. However, this situation is more than what meets the eye. In case some Call of Duty fans are not aware, Denver-based model Abena is the one who has possibly served as the inspiration for Nova. The latter is one of the newest Operators featured in Modern Warfare II.

Interestingly, Abena has got a Harry Potter tattoo as well. So it might be the case that the devs who worked on Nova may have forgotten to delete the tattoo while scanning Abena, who was the model for this female Operator. But it’s just a theory as of now since there’s no clear information available on this situation.
