Activision’s ongoing Call of Duty installment in Modern Warfare II has been a big hit for the publisher, to say the least. Upon its debut last year, the title broke endless records as it earned over a billion dollars in just ten days of release. While it has received lots of love from fans, there are also those users who seem to be frustrated with its bugs and glitches.

One such incident was seen recently online when some players were shocked to see a false branding for a weapon bundle inside Call of Duty Modern Warfare II’s in-game store. Yes, that sounds quite unbelievable at first, but it’s exactly what the players reportedly saw. Apparently, a Reddit user tried to throw light on such situations that are becoming common in the current installment. Obviously, it won’t give a nice impression to anyone who likes to buy a lot of CoD bundles by paying real money.

Purchasing bundles in CoD games is a regular practice for many players. Especially those who are fond of flaunting new cosmetics on their guns or trying out the latest outfits for their preferred Operator. But mostly, a lot of them generally try to have a given bundle to strengthen their selected weapons. And also to make them look inevitably attractive.

One Call of Duty player had a similar thought when they decided to buy a recently released weapon bundle. In the game, it’s called Plum Joy. But to their surprise, it wasn’t what it was appearing to be in the store before buying. The Reddit user, who’s known as u/FlowKom, shared an image on the social platform. While posting it, they mentioned that this Plum Joy bundle advertised the featured weapon in purple color. However, to their disappointment, the end result was something else.

The advertised color wasn’t there on the weapon’s actual skin after purchasing the bundle. Not to mention that this outcome made the Reddit user extremely frustrated. It looks like they paid the money equivalent to 500 CoD Points to have it.
