Continuing this pattern in the new year as well, the makers recently rolled out another fresh mode called Bounty. It was just added a day ago in Call of Duty Modern Warfare II. At first, some users might assume that it is similar to Team Deathmatch. However, that’s not the case entirely.
Bounty mode in Call of Duty Modern Warfare II explained
In case anyone missed it, Infinity Ward recently made some changes to both MWII and Warzone 2. Sharing a tweet on its official Twitter account, the developer mentioned that both the games have received brand new playlists for the battle royale and Multiplayer modes.
However, the bigger change was witnessed in the Multiplayer setup as the previously introduced Control mode is nowhere to be seen. It’s been replaced by Bounty in Call of Duty Modern Warfare II. Basically it requires the players to take down high value targets (HVTs) in a fashion similar to Team Deathmatch.
Yes, it is somewhat similar to TDM, yet there is one major difference between the two. In Bounty, players with the most kills (from both the teams) eventually become high value targets. After that, their positions will be displayed on the map very clearly so that other players can take them down.

While the HVTs will need to prevent themselves from getting killed, other players who manage to kill them will earn double points for their respective teams. The most interesting thing about this mode is that the HVTs always keep changing depending on who is consistently scoring more kills in a given match.
