There are an infinite number of strategies players can come up with while playing Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3. With 114 weapons in the game, along with perks, players can mix and match combinations of them to come up with something new. While there are some strategies that just work, Often, it’s the unorthodox strategies that really work.

While many players have been trying to find the best mix of weapons and perks, others are learning the maps and practicing aim. One player on Reddit showed the community a strategy that seemed impossible to pull off.

The Pacifist Run in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3

A recent post on Reddit has surfaced where a player has showcased something that many would believe to be impossible. Call of Duty is a game of skill, practice, and intuition. Many players play the game for hours on end to get better at it. While the entire premise of the game is to shoot and kill the enemies, this player has been on a personal cease-fire.

What is so special about this player is that they have not taken any kills in the 15 hours of gameplay. Despite this, they still managed to get a staggering 2.87 win-to-loss ratio. In the post, the player has shown that they have played for 15 hours and 2 minutes and played a total of 89 games. In the 89 games, the player has taken 0 kills and has died 1613 times.

Despite those statistics, the player has managed to win 66 games and only lose 23. Such a score is often quite hard for players to get while taking enemies out. In some extra details, the player’s last game was shown, where they secured 5,870 points and did it without killing a single enemy.

The player achieved the points by playing Hardpoint as their main map. They got the points by spamming Decoy Grenades and DDOS for points, so they would use the UAV/CUAV throughout the game. While this is a rather passive gameplay style, somehow it worked for the player.

Knife only Nuke

A YouTuber by the name of UnseeableNinja captured another unique gameplay style. This player decided to be able to pull off an MGB Nuke by only using knives. The MGB Nuke is a game-ending bomb that eliminates all the players from the map. The player who triggers this instantly gets a win for their team.

What adds a challenge to the MGB is the fact that to unlock this perk, players need to get 30 back-to-back kills without dying. Doing so in the game is a feat in itself. But the fact that this player decided to do it using only knives is way more impressive.

The player decides to try this challenge at Hardpoint. This is where the player initially dies three times, but after that, he remains alive to knife 30 players in a row. This was done mostly by using the throwing knife to eliminate enemies. The whole point of the mission was to not use any weapons except knives, and the player finally pulled them off.

These two examples show how there are strategies that go beyond using the best guns in the game. Such gameplay does take practice and skill too, but in the end, it is more fun and challenging.
