Compared to Modern Warfare II’s single-player experience, Modern Warfare 3 will introduce open-combat missions. It will enable players to complete certain quests in their own style – the way they want. There won’t be a linear approach or pattern they will have to follow. Players will be able to craft unique strategies and make their own customized loadouts. In short, the new feature will allow them to get a feeling of being inside an open-world RPG.

On the story front, iconic villain Vladimir Makarov is making a return this time. The arch nemesis of Task Force 141 was last seen in 2011’s original MW3. Now, he’s going to be even more ruthless and destructive with his evil plans. Captain Price and his team, consisting of Ghost, Gaz, Alex, Farah, Soap, and Alejandro, will have to stop him at any cost to prevent a massive war.
