For the weekend 2 of the beta, the devs have planned to add new content to the game. A new game mode for the map Highrise will be available to try out. This game mode will have players getting into 6v6 battles to see which team turns up victorious. Along with the new multiplayer mode, week 2 will also introduce the Orlov Military Base (Ground War) map, which is great for tactical engagements. Players can choose to clear the base methodically or use fast vehicles to advance toward objectives.

Some other changes include the introduction of the Cutthroat 3v3v3 mode. In this mode, 3 trios compete against each other to capture the flag in an action-packed map with enemies rushing down from every side. Search and Destroy, another game mode that was missing from the beta, but is a staple part of almost every Call of Duty game is making its return. In this mode, teams take turns defending and destroying bomb sites. There are no respawns, making each life and objective crucial.

Players can expect to see all these changes starting from October 12 as the second weekend commences. Along with the new features, Xbox players will finally have access to the open beta of MW3. Meanwhile, another thing devs have added to the game is the Weekend 2 rewards.
