For those uninitiated, Trophy System is a deployable autonomous defense system. It can destroy up to three pieces of equipment and projectiles.

Simply put, it helps the player to demolish any incoming tactical or lethal equipment or explosives. This is very useful for any mission consisting of a specific objective to accomplish. With this, you can hold down an area for a long duration while also avoiding surprise attacks from the enemies.

Players saw the Trophy System in 2019’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. And after getting to know it better, they benefitted from its effective deployment in many areas. However, this feature/system wasn’t there in last year’s Vanguard.

But now, according to the latest update by CODMW2Informer, Trophy System is coming back in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. The account also mentioned that this news is based on “trusted rumours”.

It also implies that those players who were disappointed to not find this feature in Vanguard can rejoice again. They will once again have it in Modern Warfare 2.

Well, it makes quite a lot of sense as well, given that the upcoming game is a direct sequel of 2019’s blockbuster installment. If the Trophy System makes a return, then players, who are already familiar with its abilities, will have an edge over their opponents.
