Call of Duty Mobile: AS-VAL Has A New Mythic Variant With Custom Optics

Call of Duty Mobile Season 2: Day of Reckoning, had a massive surprise for all players. However, for the free-to-play players, these kinds of surprises come at a heavy cost. Every Friday, CoDM releases a new legendary weapon in the game. But this season it decided to introduce the third Mythic weapon in the game.

Mythic weapons are not too old yet. CoDM started with the Fennec Ascended, which is now nerfed beyond measure, so we do not see it in-game anymore. Among the players in the community who were angry with Activision for nerfing the Fennec, many were the patrons of the first Mythic weapon. They practically had the coolest customizable skin in the game, which they could not use after one season.

Beyond the show-off factor comes the hefty price tag. Many big-time streamers complained as soon as the drop came out that the price attached was a tad bit too high. In reality, Lucky draws are money churning machines for Activision, and the Mythic Drop just makes a player go through the entire ordeal of a lucky draw, twice.

After the Peacekeeper-Mk2, the AS-VAL, which came out earlier this season, is the second assault rifle to receive a mythic variant. The draw came out yesterday and it also released a new epic character. Here are all the elements one can unlock in the Part One of the drop:

Mythic AS-VAL has custom sights in Call of Duty Mobile

The mythic AS-VAL -Double Edge comes with four different customizable builds. It has three different types of mythic barrels which change the dynamics of the gun as per the player’s play style. The MIP Quick Response Barrel, MIP 105mm Melee Barrel and MIO 200mm MId Range Barrel, change the gun from a long distance beast to a close and mid-range monster.

There is also a custom 3x Tactical Scope 2, which matches the look of the weapon and provides great stability even at range. Usually is difficult to control the AR spray with a big scope, however, players will notice that the gun is quite stable with the custom sight.

Even the normal ironsight of the weapon has a glazed glass held up against the pin, giving it a red dot look.

The Mythic AS-VAL will cost you over $300, unless you get really lucky and manage to pull the weapon before the entire draw is over. Considering it is one of the best skins in the game, there is a reason to go for it. Furthermore, it comes attached with a pay-to-win factor, but only by a margin. The ASM-10 or the DR-H will any day take out the AS-VAL in a fair fight in Call of Duty Mobile.
