The cultural craze of Barbenheimer has taken over the world in the last few days. It looks like moviegoers have found two best theatrical releases to enjoy this summer. While one is Margot Robbie-starrer Barbie, the other is Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer. And now, this phenomenon has also begun to infect few gamers as well, especially the ones from Call of Duty community.

By now, millions of people have already watched these two films. The growing list has now added another name in CoD legend Jev. Recently, the YouTuber expressed his personal opinions on these box-office juggernauts. Interestingly, he also gave an overall verdict to the unstoppable Barbenheimer trend.

Jev is a fan-favorite YouTuber and CoD gamer. In recent years, he’s earned a reputation in the community. Thanks to his exceptional skills, the man has gained a lot of popularity on the internet. Everyone is aware of the fact that he’s got an amazing away of including various topics in his videos where he can be seen playing mostly CoD titles. While mentioning things from the gaming space, he sometimes ends up talking about global trends as well from categories like sports and entertainment.

In a similar video, Jev talked in length about the Barbenheimer phenomenon. While showing his shooting abilities in a classic 2011 game Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3, the YouTuber took some time to mention his views on two of the biggest movies of this summer.

“To me, I give Barbenheimer experience, as a whole, a nine out of ten”, he said. Individually, too, he gave both the films a rating of nine out of ten each. After sharing his take on the recent releases, he continued his rant on TTK in the game he was playing.

Speaking of the global phenomenon, Barbie and Oppenheimer have exceeded all expectations. According to a report from Variety, Margot Robbie’s film has become the biggest movie directed by a woman in the US. In its opening weekend, it grossed over $162 million – way above the initial predictions of around $110 million. After adding collections from the international regions, Barbie has made more than $355 million as of this writing.

Coming onto Oppenheimer, then Christopher Nolan’s name has once again managed to attract audiences to theaters. Of course, the movie has received a big boost thanks to the Barbenheimer trend. Despite having a long runtime of more than three hours, it has succeeded in making more than what analysts had projected before its debut.

In its opening weekend, Oppenheimer made over $82 million domestically. After combining the earnings from overseas markets, it has gone past a very healthy total of $180 million, as of this writing.
