Call of Duty 2023 is rumored to feature the undead making their way into the Modern Warfare universe.

The situation regarding Call of Duty has become quite interesting these days. Especially since the anticipated debut of Modern Warfare II. The ongoing installment in the franchise has ended up having a rollercoaster ride. While it is breaking sales records, most of the players have had mixed feelings about its content so far. But a recently leaked intel has suggested that they will receive something surprising this year when the new premium from Activision comes out.

A YouTuber recently came out with some crucial details related to this year’s full premium. Considering that Treyarch’s next title is the Black Ops game, which is coming next year, speculations have escalated over 2023’s offering. Modern Warfare II was initially expected to have a life cycle of two years. But now, an entirely new game is coming in a couple of months.

Are Zombies coming to Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2023?

It is already known that Sledgehammer is developing this year’s standalone title. And according to the details leaked so far, it’s expected to be a continuation of MWII. Now what’s interesting to note is that another massive leak has claimed that the upcoming COD from Activision will also feature Zombies.

Glitching Queen is a popular YouTuber and also a notable figure on Twitter. In one of her newest videos, she mentioned that Call of Duty 2023 will have Zombies. This comes from her alleged interaction with a friend who got to connect with a QA tester. The latter is said to be trying out a Zombies mode currently for this year’s title.

Moreover, the leak also reveals that the rumored mode is round-based, similar to what fans saw in 2020’s Black Ops Cold War. Which means there won’t be a version of Outbreak. But again, this is just a leak and should be taken with a grain of salt, at least for now.

However, if this intel is true, it will be the first time the Modern Warfare universe will make a crossover with the undead. In the Call of Duty series, they have mostly made their appearance in Black Ops entries only. As for the other details regarding the new game, it’s expected to arrive in the first two weeks of November.
