Activision and Infinity Ward’s latest Call of Duty offering in Modern Warfare II is finally out. Hardcore franchise lovers are enjoying it, but many of them have reported annoying problems related to bugs, performance issues, and glitches.

Following repeated instances of players complaining about the new entry, for the issues, the developing team of Infinity Ward finally decided to address them through their first community update. Just recently, they revealed the first patch notes for Call of Duty Modern Warfare II.
Fans are happy with Infinity Ward’s commitment to making Call of Duty Modern Warfare II better
The developers shared a blog while revealing the first-ever patch notes a week after the worldwide release of the sequel to the 2019 blockbuster. Infinity Ward‘s update addresses multiple issues faced by the fans and they have promised to fix them as soon as possible. Speaking of what’s already fixed with a recently rolled-out update, then there are several key changes made.

- Fix for various camos not unlocking during progression
- Fixed framerate drop issues
- Addressed known freezing issues
- Overall performance improvements in the gameplay
- Added fixes for stuttering and lag problems
Furthermore, PC players of Call of Duty Modern Warfare II who are experiencing stutters and frame drops should see an improvement. The newest update, combined with the latest Nvidia hotfix driver 526.61, should fix the situation they have been going through.
The following are the issues yet to be fixed:
- Riot shield provides invincibility against chopper gunner and VTOL
- DDOS Field upgrade availability bug
- A bug affecting helicopter height, which allows them to leave the map in some instances

Most importantly, Infinity Ward also revealed in their patch notes that they are working to bring UI/UX changes very soon. “We continue to refine our UI and will have more details in the Season 01 launch notes.”
Meanwhile, a lot of players, if not all, were quite satisfied with the developing team’s communication with the fans just days after the launch. It’s because they were facing continuous issues related to bugs and stutters on different platforms. And now that IW released the patch notes while focusing on the problems reported, it made the fans quite happy.
Most of them seem to be positive about the coming days for Modern Warfare II. They are hopeful that the developers will fix the remaining issues sooner while making the new Call of Duty even better.
