At least that seems to be the case with a recent discovery of an interesting Easter Egg in rapper Eminem’s newest music video.

Yes, you read that absolutely right. American rapper Eminem’s latest video for his song ‘Is This Love’ features a Call of Duty reference. Ever since gamers noticed it on YouTube, they have gone mad, to say the least.

The connection between the famous rapper and the Call of Duty saga is very old, for those who are not aware of it already. The artist’s song ‘Till I Collapse was featured in the launch trailer for 2009’s blockbuster Modern Warfare 2. In fact, 2013’s Ghosts also had a track from Eminem, titled Survival.

Recently, a piece of news took the internet by storm after Marshall revealed the music video for his track called ‘Is This Love.’ This detail was spotted by the Twitter account ModernWarzone (also known for sharing major leaks). The account posted a tweet mentioning that the rapper’s video features a yellow version of the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 logo.

CoD fans have wild theories regarding Eminem

As soon as the tweet went viral, hardcore fans and gaming enthusiasts wasted no time in dropping their reactions. Some of them thought that this could be a normal reference to the series and nothing else. However, most of the players assumed it to be an indication of a new track by Eminem for the upcoming Modern Warfare II.

On the other hand, there were those who think that the name of Modern Warfare 3 being mentioned could be a hint for a future remaster of the hit installment from 2011.

Meanwhile, the next major entry in the first-person action series is set to come out next month. It will be available for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Battle.net and Steam.
