Call of Duty Fans Give Their Verdict on the Best Warzone Map Design of All Time

Call of Duty Warzone series has witnessed some of the most interesting additions when it comes to battle royale maps. From the beloved Verdansk to the newly introduced Vondel in Modern Warfare II‘s Season 4, fans have seen a lot. And now, it’s time for them to pick their favorite one!

One Twitter streamer and industry insider was eager to see the players’ preferences in terms of choosing the best Warzone map based on design. Hence, he recently asked a lot of hardcore fans to rank their favorite maps. Not to mention that most of them ended up prioritizing only one map above all the others released in the history of the game so far.

Fans declare Verdansk as the best-designed map in Call of Duty Warzone

Ever since Warzone was introduced more than three years ago, it has gone through tons of transitions. Not just in the gameplay, but in the department of maps as well. Following the end of the first title in 2022, a new sequel was revealed later with the debut of Modern Warfare II. However, it was recently rebranded again as the devs removed the 2.0 label from it. The successor has also received a total of three maps so far, thus bringing the overall count of Warzone maps to eight.

Considering a large number of playable regions in Call of Duty Warzone’s history, Twitter user and popular streamer ModernWarzone decided to know about fans’ preferences in terms of choosing their favorite map. The content creator posted a tweet while writing the names of all eight maps. He asked the players to react by ranking their personal favorite map in terms of design.

Coming as no surprise, majority of the fans went with the one and only Verdansk – the original Warzone map. Many Twitter users ranked it higher than the rest of the contenders like Rebirth Island, Al Mazrah or even the newly revealed Vondel in Season 4. Have a look at their reactions below:
