Ever since its awaited release, Call of Duty Warzone 2 has witnessed a downward trend in recent months. Its battle royale format has mostly received mixed reactions, simply because the approach taken by the devs has made loyal fans disappointed and frustrated. Yes, the title is quite engaging in certain aspects, but the lack of captivating features has been a growing problem, to say the least.

More players are losing interest in the game sooner than expected. All things considered, the devs really need to add some quality content in order to retain the players and prevent them from leaving. However, it looks like there’s still time for them to address the actual problem which is causing the slide in Warzone 2’s popularity.

ModernWarzone is a reputed streamer and COD content creator on social media. Apart from playing the titles in the franchise, he also keeps dropping crucial intel regarding leaks and rumors.

Just recently, the streamer dropped a tweet mentioning a brand new map that is rumored to arrive in Call of Duty Warzone 2. The map is none other than Las Almas. It was originally revealed in Modern Warfare II’s Campaign last year. Furthermore, parts of it are already in use in the Multiplayer, such as the Santa Sena border crossing and Mercado Las Almas. Considering the strong reports about its addition, ModernWarzone asked the fans if they are looking forward to it or not in the battle royale title.

It looks like Call of Duty players are not at all interested in getting another large-scale map. What they really want is a great gameplay experience in Warzone 2.

Most of the gamers mentioned in their comments that a lack of maps isn’t the real problem for the game. It’s the lack of fluid and amazing movement which is annoying them. And that the devs must work on improving the existing experience rather than adding more maps. Because it won’t fix the game whatsoever. “We don’t need a new map we need better mechanics”, wrote a disappointed user.
