Fan-made Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II UI design

The fans are frustrated seeing the Modern Warfare II menu system as soon as the game starts. They are heavily criticizing the developer Infinity Ward for the UI design. Moreover, these criticisms have been there since they rolled out the beta versions. But despite the complaints, the developers haven’t worked on the menu system.

The new menu system follows a horizontal block system. Many fans have compared it to the menu system used in streaming platforms like Netflix, Hulu, and Disney Plus. They complained that the new UI design is complicated to navigate and use. They want the developers to go back to the classic vertical menu system, which was easy to navigate.

An avid CoD fan and Redditor, InterventX, recently shared a picture where he recreated the menu design according to everyone’s demands. He recreated the UI design for Modern Warfare II features the classic vertical list style. Undoubtedly, it looks clear and easy to navigate compared to the original horizontal block.

The fans were excited to see the fan-made menu system, which matched their ideal UI design for a Call of Duty game. So they praised the fan-made UI design, and it’s the creator. Many fans also trolled the game’s developers for the UI, claiming they thought MWII was a mobile game.
