Call of Duty Warzone is currently going through its Season 2 with the latest maps Caldera and Rebirth Island. However, its die-hard fans are still wondering when Verdansk will make a return.
That’s due to the fact that since its initial reveal in early 2020, Verdansk became a beloved map among the players in Call of Duty Warzone. Unfortunately, though, it was replaced few months back by Caldera. While some players are still enjoying the multiplayer, most of them are not fully satisfied due to the omission of Verdansk.

However, a new leak might boost the hope of the map’s ‘rebirth’ itself in Warzone.
Call of Duty Warzone fans answer the looming question over Verdansk’s possible comeback
As is already known, Caldera replaced the original playable map on December 8, 2021. It was done due to the launch of the Call of Duty: Vanguard. Despite liking the tropical areas of Caldera, many of the players still miss the good old Verdansk. Well, it can be said that it has managed to establish a special place in their hearts.
Recently, an account on Twitter, that goes by the name @WarzoneInformer, shared an interesting tweet containing a solid leak. It mentioned that fan-favorite Verdansk might come back soon in Call of Duty Warzone. It was claimed that an Activision employee revealed this detail about the map making a return on “certain platforms” in 2023.

Although it is good news, if in case it turns out to be true, the leak didn’t specify in which way Verdansk will return.

But fans had their own answers to solve this mystery. According to most of the players on social media, the map will actually come back with a Warzone Mobile game in 2023. This makes quite a lot of sense as well, given the rumors so far about a mobile port for the battle royale title in development.
For everyone speculating that maby its coming to old gen or there will be bunch of maps in rotation its most likely goin to be on warzone mobile instead of being on consoles

It is most likely WZM/CODM BR as multiple leakers have said that we will have a new map for WZ2 and that it would most likely be the DMZ(mw2 3rd mode) maps stuck together if we were getting verdansk a leaker would have said it by now
