Call Of Duty Black Ops: Cold War wrapped up its alpha build a couple of weeks ago. Since then, everyone has been hyping up the beta release. Cold War Beta is soon coming to PS4, and there are words from the devs that make things even more exciting.
Tony Flame took to Twitter in such a confident fashion that players will now be looking forward to the beta even more.
The Black Ops Cold War Beta is quite an upgrade over the Alpha. I don't think anyone quite realizes what this team can do in a short amount of time. From new features to the core feel, nearly everything has taken leaps forward.
My favorite part tho: the new lobby music kicks it

New lobby music? Well, it has been almost customary for every Black Ops title to have glorious music that leaves a lasting impression. But fans of the franchise expect a lot more than just wonderful music from Tony and his team.
Earlier this week, Tony had also announced the zombies reveal for Cold War. Zombies are returning to Call of Duty, as everyone expected, but it is highly unlikely that we will see them in the beta build.
So proud of the team on the Zombies Reveal, representing our best work yet. We've been trying to figure out cross-progression for MP and ZM for I don't even want to tell you how long, and its working beautifully. Level up your Player and Weapons in MP OR ZM. Play it how you want.

If not anything spectacular, in everybody’s best interests, the beta should have fewer amounts of bugs and smoother gameplay.
The cross-progression through multiplayer and zombies is therefore not to be expected in the beta build. It would be extremely kind of the team if they allow players who will play the beta to keep their progression when the game launches later this year.

Players who played the alpha build will need to delete that application and re-download the new beta version. There is no in-app upgrade.
