Baldur’s Gate 3 is making quite an impression among players. The expansive storyline of the game has left a lasting impression within days of release. However, now that players have spent considerable time in Larian Studios‘s latest RPG, many have complained about how the game is incredibly unrewarding to players who opt to go through the game as an evil character.

Many had already voiced their dissatisfaction with how the game handled the character development of the main antagonist. Now, with the realization of how the game cuts off in-game royalties for making evil choices, fans are once again left to vent out frustrations.

Despite being released without a Metascore, fans love the potential that Baldur’s Gate 3 offers. The game became a smash hit within the first couple of days after release, and fans couldn’t stop talking about how great the game feels. While the game has a lot of positives, unfortunately, it doesn’t end there. Now that players are done with a few playthroughs, they’re not entirely happy with how things unfold if you play as an evil character.

Playing as an evil person, you cannot be pals with many in-game characters or go on several quests. With so many restrictions, playing as an evil character doesn’t seem much fun in Baldur’s Gate 3.

The post has since encouraged a lot of like-minded players to come and share their take on the matter. A lot of significant points have come up during the discussion which shows just how half-baked the game feels when you choose to play as evil.

Die-hard fans usually play the game multiple times. Especially if the game offers replay value. Such is the case with one user who tried going the evil route during their second play through, but sadly wasn’t too happy.

Some users prefer to take the evil route when given the choice. Why? Because it’s fun! Unfortunately, not so much in this case.

It’s understandable that a player who wants to go the evil route and access content should be able to do both. While a tradeoff is not completely out of the question, some users really wanted it all, and tried to make do.

However, some think it’s no big deal and we should just learn to enjoy things as they come, at least in this case.
