NRG, one of the top Rocket League Championship teams in the world, recently shared a post on Instagram that has fans talking. The post features two real cars and a human-sized ball being tackled back and forth by the two cars with the ultimate aim of pushing it into the opponent’s goal.

The post has received a lot of attention from fans, with many praising the creativity and skill it must have taken to set up the real-life game. “Rocket league on RTX 4090” one fan commented. Another wrote, “Bro Rocket League Is Real?”

Thus one fan wrote, “Gentleman, welcome to AutoFußball club, the first rule of AutoFußball club is do not compare it to Rocket League, the second rule of AutoFußball club is never mention rocket league!”

However, a rule was broken

The video clip that was shared by NRG had a caption on it written as “He broke rule 1”, which is actually about the game drivers coming head to head, but one car backing out of the head butt to defend the human-sized ball from rolling into his goal. Thus many fans started commenting on the post saying that they should have known the first rule of Rocket League.

But the real question here is, why do fans need to compare a Real-Life sport with a video game? Although it seems that the sport might have been adopted from the video game, it seems that the history of the game is actually much older than known. Thus, the realization kicks in as not everything that is famous must have been the genesis of something unknown.
