But the most important factor here is that the British YouTuber KSI once had more subscribers than YouTube’s king PewDiePie. Thus says his 2016 video titled, “I HAD MORE SUBSCRIBERS THAN PEWDIEPIE”, where he used the wayback machine, a website that archives all the activities on the internet. Here he was shocked at how he progressed over the years, and especially how he blew up on YouTube.

KSI once had more subscribers than PewDiePie!

British YouTube star KSI while recording the “I HAD MORE SUBSCRIBERS THAN PEWDIEPIE” video got curious as to how he did in 2010 against PewDiePie. While surfing through the Wayback Machine on the internet, KSI got nostalgic as he was able to see all the changes and all the videos that he did as a young YouTuber.

Surprisingly, KSI had 3, 222 subscribers as of December 8, 2010, while PewDiePie only had 19 subscribers as of November 2010. This shocked KSI because he couldn’t believe that he had more subscribers that PewDiePie at one point in time. He even said, “My f**king God. My n**** had 19 subscribers. I had more subscribers than PewDiePie. Dude, that’s mad.”

Notably, PewDiePie had a previous account named PewDie in 2006, but since he forgot the password to that account, the King of YouTube had to make another account by the name of PewDiePie in 2010. That can be a reason why many didn’t know about his latest account at the time, and why KSI had more subscribers than him.
