The most recent installments of this iconic first-person shooting franchise, Call of Duty Modern Warfare II and Warzone, have added a new operator named Arthur in the latest season 5 update. Every operator comes with some specific finishing moves that instantly kill the enemy near them. Arthur is not an exception to it. Aurthur has a dog named Merlin, which is his finishing move. So, it’s a finishing move.

Here are all the details of all the updates in the Season 5. But after the glance of Merlin, fans’ memories of Riley sparked up in their minds and hearts too. Riley was a dog ally who was first introduced in the classic COD title, Call of Duty Ghosts, which was released in 2013. Riley was a part of the Ghosts’ squadron, whose job was to help out players by sniffing out explosives. It could also be controlled remotely by the player at certain times. This pet was an important aspect of COD Ghosts single-player campaigns as well as multiplayer arenas.
Now, this German Shepherd has also been reintroduced in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019). Riley was featured in the battle pass of season 3 of that game, and it was an operator finishing move. Riley was the second dog-themed operator after Operator Talon, who has his own pet dog named Indiana.
So, as Merlin has been added as an operator finishing move, COD fans will see another reintroduction of Riley as an operator finishing move too, in Call of Duty Modern Warfare II and Warzone.
