Twitch streamer Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel gets banned from Twitch, yet again. This makes it the fifth ban that he would receive in his streaming career.

On August 14, xQc, one of the most popular Twitch streamers, was banned, and as of now the reason for his ban has not been revealed by Twitch. Being his fifth ban, this could be detrimental to xQc’s streaming career as it could lead to a potential permanent ban, but that again depends on the seriousness of the ban.

xQc frustrated, counter-claim possible

In July, it was only a couple of weeks ago that the Olympic Committee issued him with a “DMCA strike” for rebroadcasting the 2020 Tokyo Games. As a result of the “unfair claim,” xQc filed a DMCA counter-claim to have the strike thrown out.

xQc recently stated in a new Twitch clip that his fellow streamers have been “ganging up” on him for material and that he has not received any support from them.

“Where is all the outrage now? ” xQc appears to have been asking in the clip. He claims that he got “zero” direct messages from the other streamers whom DMCA could have harmed.

As far as xQc is concerned, his DMCA counter-claim could positively impact Twitch streams’ ability to watch and react to content on the platform, but the outcome is still uncertain.
