Usually, when it comes to game achievements, developers add new achievements when new content is releasing for the game. This ranges from a small expansion, all the way to a full DLC. Larger expansions have more achievements, as there is more content to play through.
Similarly, with the addition of ten new achievements, fans speculate DLC coming up for Hi-Fi RUSH. Moreover, with Xbox Games Showcase right around the corner, the likelihood of Microsoft releasing DLC for the game seems quite high.
The DLC is a necessary expansion, given the current Delux Upgrade for the game on Steam only offers cosmetic products for the game. New content may be a breath of fresh air for fans of the game, going as far as prompting other gamers to pick the title up for themselves.
