Over the years, Santa Monica Studios has developed one of the most creative communities. Their top-grossing title, God Of War, has laid the foundation for some of the innovators in this world. We will be talking about one such innovation that has generated mixed emotions in the community.
A few months back, a budding modificator found some way to create a Simpson x God Of War modification. With that, he turned Kratos into Aretus and Homer into Bart. I guarantee not even the people who make these games would get this mad at something like this. You could probably show this to Cory Barlog and he'd think it was funny.

Now, let’s have a look at the ones who were disappointed with the modification. I mean, we understand the disappointment, as no one would like to compare a cartoon character with a Greek god. But, every person is entitled to their opinion so, it is necessary for them to approve it.

Only thing I "hate" (for not having a better word to describe it) is that all mods are just that, changing models. What happened to all those cool mods that added new features to the game to the point of even making them completely different games/genres?

If you think that’s bad just imagine how insufferable they’ll get when the Last of Us port drops

Santa Monica Studios has always impressed fans!
In 2018, Santa Monica Studios released a book, ‘The Art Of God Of War.’ The franchise released the book to honor their most loved gaming series, God Of War. Apart from that, the sole idea of releasing this title was to help fans understand the legacy of Kratos in-depth.
So, even if sometimes fans do not approve of the creations from the community or the franchise, it is important to understand the kind of effort put in to make them.
