Apart from the games themselves, Elon Musk is also very particular about choosing his playable characters when beginning a new title. While his Elden Ring build is well-known by now (thanks to Twitter), he’s also got a deep love for Nintendo’s iconic Super Smash Bros. Moreover, his best character in this fighting game is not what many people might predict.
Elon Musk loves to main Zero Suit Samus in Nintendo blockbuster Super Smash Bros.
As is already known, Super Smash Bros. is a crossover fighting title from the Mario maker. It features all the famous characters from Nintendo’s immensely famous IPs. Since its inception, this series has grown extremely among fans. As a result of that, even Tesla’s co-founder is a huge Super Smash Bros. gamer and loves to play it with his kids, as revealed by the renowned YouTube channel The Richest.

But who’s the one character that the billionaire likes to main in this Nintendo Switch hit? If you are thinking of a giant like Bowser, then it’s definitely not the case. To everyone’s surprise, Elon Musk plays as none other than Metroid’s legendary protagonist Samus Aran. Now it may look like a confusing choice to many, but Musk has his own preferences.
To be precise, he has the Zero Suit Samus set as his go-to hero while entering the battle arena of Super Smash Bros. Zero Suit is Aran’s regular costume version without the evergreen heavy armor suit.
He had already revealed this fact four years ago via a tweet while replying to a follower, in case anyone missed to keep track. Now we know that the die-hard Elden Ring player also loves a strong female character in Samus. Another reason to select her could be due to the fact that she’s one of the most hard-to-get characters in SSB. One has to put a lot of effort to eventually unlock her.

Another simple reason for Musk to main her might be that he’s a space-loving guy after all and Samus also happens to be a galactic hero in her own franchise. Well, that makes perfect sense for him to go with the lady rather than choosing Bowser.
