They say the third time is a charm, but not always. Musician, gamer and streaming content creator BruceDropEmOff has certainly proved that. He has finally called quits with Twitch after being banned four times. He announced a new chapter for his life, promising to join its ‘arch-nemesis’.

For years, BruceDropEmOff has been one of the pioneers of Twitch. He helped the platform churn massive revenue as he established himself and his online persona. But it’s hard to clap with one hand, Twitch has not supported him adequately in his journey. Since 2016, the streamer has been banned over four times for using hateful slurs, explicit content, etc.

With the latest ban, the Amazon-owned platform limited him from streaming for quite some time. This might’ve been the final straw for him as he decided to move on and sign a better deal in the market. He’s now signed a million-dollar contract with the upcoming platform.

Fellow content creator, Jake Lucky has claimed that he will be live on Twitch and Kick on June 2. However, that remarks for massive speculation as Twitch does not allow streaming on two platforms at a time. So, it is safe enough to say, it could be nothing but a quick and sweet farewell.

BruceDropEmOff broke the secret in a fun manner as he uploaded a dedicated video for it. In the video, the content creator started off on an icy adventure until he landed on the official (green) Kick logo, where another streamer, Adin Ross, was waiting to welcome him. Plus, fans considered the deal a fair trade as Kick had an easier system.

For instance, the platform shared a 95/5 revenue split, compared to Twitch’s 50-50. This allowed creators to take home their hard-earned money while paying a small fee for using the platform. Similarly, Kick gave liberty to its streamers to almost stream everything, compared to Twitch which added instant bans on slight misuse.
