Luckily, Activision has finally officially confirmed that the upcoming COD 2022 title will be a sequel to the 2019 release Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Moreover, a brand new COD Warzone title is also under development, and the presumed name of the sequel is Call of Duty: Warzone 2.

Warzone 2 will feature a brand new sandbox mode and playspace. And this time, a new gaming engine will power both these upcoming titles. No doubt this is a huge announcement from Activision that has already left the fans all excited.

On Feb 11, 2022, the developers made this joyful announcement on Twitter; the official developer of both the upcoming titles is Infinity Ward.

For the fans who aren’t familiar with the fact, Infinity Ward was also the official developer of titles COD: Modern Warfare 2019 and COD: Warzone. And these games saw a fair amount of success. This also indicates that both the upcoming titles are likely to be a massive hit and provide an immersive gaming experience.
