Because, Spoiler Alert, Lalo Salamanca dies early in the mid-season premiere, fans got upset and wanted to see more of him. But since bringing a deceased character might ruin the whole show, fans chose another route to resurrect their favorite character.

In a recent tweet by a Rockstar insider, he asked the company to cast Tony as a central character in their upcoming title. Commenting on this fans started making comparisons on how Tony can perfectly play the character of Trevor, a GTA fan favorite.

Some fans even said that if Vince Gilligan, Director of both Better Call Saul and Breaking Bad, starts writing for Rockstar then their every game might become a masterpiece!

Not just in GTA though, some wanted him to be a part of any Naughty Dogs Project.

It was beautiful while it lasted

The Breaking Bad universe is known for its cruel and abrupt character finales. Most of the time, when a character starts getting lovable, the show infamously kills them off. This was also with the case of Lalo. Interestingly, GTA also follows the same pattern. With characters like Lance Vance, Johnny Klebitz, Roman Bellic, Trevor, etc., being killed off as a part of storytelling.

Thus, it is very likely that fans could think of something like this. According to some fan theories, Tony can befit the role of a voice actor for GTA, and if it is true, then it will surely hype things up!

Notably, Giancarlo Esposito, who played the role of Gus Fring in the Breaking Bad universe, also became a video game antagonist for Far Cry 6. Thus, it wouldn’t be the first time any fictional character from the Gilligan universe might get the attention of game developers.
