Starfield launched a while ago with massive fanfare, and the game became an instant hit. Everyone playing Starfield swears by its ability to give players a very open playground where they are free to do as they wish.
But its success does not mean this game launched without flaws. There were a few flaws, especially in the PC version. Fans were seen complaining about a number of missing features in this game. It looks like Bethesda was listening, and they have decided to bring the following features to the game:
Brightness and contrast controls

Finally, Bethesda has decided to add a brightness and contrast adjustment feature to Starfield. It was somewhat weird that this was not already in the game. People were complaining about the high contrast levels of Starfield pretty much everywhere.
It’s good to know that it’s finally coming to Starfield, though.
HDR Calibration Menu: Helpful in configuring HDR
Starfield, despite its few faults, is an insanely beautiful game. It’s hard to look away when one is just cruising around the universe in their ship. HDR can make that scenery even more appealing. But many players complained that the HDR in Starfield is not up to par.
It was in such bad condition that players were downloading mods to fix it. A calibration menu would surely help in this regard.
FOV Slider: Helps increase the field of view
When a game supports first-person mode and players have purchased massive displays to play that game, low FOV can end up being a deal-breaker. This makes players feel congested; they cannot see properly, and the game starts feeling more and more restrictive due to the movement.

It looks like Bethesda understands this; hence, they have decided to add a FOV slider to Starfield too.
NVIDIA DLSS support: image reconstruction technology to help improve frame rate
When the game launched, everyone was a bit disappointed by the fact that this game was missing DLSS. Although it featured AMD’s FSR, people were not very satisfied with the kind of performance boost it provided.
Maybe that’s why Bethesda finally decided to give fans what they wanted: native DLSS support. Now fans would not have to download a mod just to add DLSS to Starfield.
32:9 UltraWide support for PC gamers
Playing a game like Starfield on an UltraWide screen is a dream come true for any fan out there. But at launch, Starfield did not support that kind of monitor or TV screen. But now, Bethesda has decided to add native UltraWide monitor support to Starfield.
Now it would be possible for gamers to get that Interstellar in IMAX feel while playing Starfield.
Eat button for food!

Now this is something unique, something that many did not even know they needed. But it is a very useful add-on to Starfield. Usually, when players are exploring the world of Starfield, they find a bunch of food items lying around. They are often enticed to pick them up, and they get added to the player’s inventory.
Now this dedicated eat button would mean players would be able to eat the food right away if they are out of space or if they need a health boost in between a gunfight.
These features sound very interesting and useful. But there’s a small trick here: they are not coming anytime soon. Bethesda has just made the announcement that they are going to add them to Starfield.
