The Gran Turismo movie promises everything fans have been hoping for
So far, the trailer looks very promising to fans, as it is filled with references from the games, promising a true-to-the-source adaptation of the popular game. The trailer started with a familiar countdown sound from the game. The camera angles used for the races are also very reminiscent of the in-game perspectives.
The life of Jann Mardenborough, who got to become a racer after competing in pro-GT circuits inspired the story. British actor Archie Madekwe will play the protagonist of the movie. His character is a highly skilled GT player who will get the big shot invitation into the professional racing scene.
But before stepping inside the high-speed, high-stakes world, he had to go through an intense training regime to change his “gamer” physique. He will be trained by Jack Salter, who is being played by David Harbour. Orlando Bloom will star as Danny Moore, a motorsport marketing executive who gives the protagonist the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
