Season 2 of Call of Duty Modern Warfare II has turned out to be a blast for many players. So far, a lot of them have ended up liking it when compared to the previous season. The major reason for the latest update receiving a positive response is due to the arrival of numerous Multiplayer modes. Especially those, that fans have adored over the years in the old installments. Now, they have made a grand return once again.

Infected is one such mode that was recently added to Modern Warfare II, coming as part of the Season 2 on its launch day. While there was a hype among the fans before its reveal, the implementation of the mode has seemingly made them even more delighted. At least that appears to be the case going by some of the players’ reactions online.

Infected makes Call of Duty Modern Warfare II super happy

Among other party modes, Infected has earned a reputation among the players for being a popular MP mode. Thus, its comeback in the ongoing entry means a lot for anyone who’s a fan of it since the previous games. In Call of Duty Modern Warfare II’s Infected, a single player is randomly selected to be the first infected individual. Other players are called the survivors. While survivors get weapons and some defensive options, infected ones are restricted to melee weapons and throwing knives.

Whenever a survivor is killed, they end up joining the team of those infected. The latter’s single objective is to wipe out all the remaining survivors in order to make Team Infected secure the victory. On the other hand, the survivors have to try to outlast a pre-determined timer to avoid the defeat.

Recently, a Reddit user expressed their happiness after trying out the newly introduced Infected mode. Seems like they are quite satisfied to have it back after a long time. Moreover, it’s good to see that the Multiplayer content, in general, is now getting amazing reactions for the first time since MWII’s release.
