Alan Wake 2: early details
In his tweet, Sam Lake thanked the fans for their support over the years since the first game’s release in 2010. Additionally, he also offered several clarifications “before we go dark.”
Alan Wake 2 is a third-person title and it will mark the return of Ilkka Villi and Matthew Porretta. While Villi was the motion capture performer, Porretta was the voice actor for Alan, the protagonist in the original title.
What’s interesting to note is that the second part’s genre is now changed to survival-horror; the first one was an action-adventure project.
Well, credit has to be given to Remedy Entertainment for retaining the original cast members. Usually, what happens is that most of the studios generally make a shift while creating a new game in an existing franchise. God of War (2018) and Metal Gear Solid 5 did that in the past. But in this case, Remedy has surprised everyone by deciding to keep the core team.
