With Hogwarts Legacy out for over half a year now, it has still managed to maintain its position in the Top 10 UK Boxed Charts. During the game’s launch, it debuted on the charts at rank 1. Over months, it saw rank 1 a few times. Especially around times when the game ran a sale on specific markets.
The launch of the game on the Nintendo Switch might just make it top the charts yet again. With the game launching for the Switch in a week, Hogwarts Legacy has some tough competition with Super Mario Bros. Wonder leading the charts last week. Although the game is currently at Rank 8, there is a chance that the Switch launch might propel it to rank 1 once again.

Hogwarts Legacy gives players a chance to explore a different era of school for Wizards and Witches. Fans of the franchise resonated with the work Avalanche Software has put in. The game has received positive reviews from gamers and critics alike and even boasts a Metascore of 84.
The UK Top 10 Boxed Charts as of October 30
In the latest UK physical game charts, Super Mario Bros Wonder took the top spot from Spider-Man 2, despite both games seeing declines in sales (55% and 69%, respectively). They remain notable for 2023 releases within the top five. Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 entered the charts in fourth place, while EA Sports FC 24 held steady in third place. Assassin’s Creed Mirage maintained its top-five position, despite a 25% sales dip.

New entries included Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 and EA Sports UFC 5 at positions four and seven. Sonic Superstars dropped significantly to fifteenth place with a 72% sales decrease. Conversely, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom fell to seventeenth place, despite a 9% sales increase.

Additionally, five titles re-entered the charts due to enticing price promotions, with Dead Island 2 notably experiencing a substantial 309% surge in sales. Other returning titles included Sonic Origins Plus, Red Dead Redemption 2, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, and Gotham Knights.
