Recently, a Super Mario fan shared a clip of him playing Super Mario Bros. Wonder way before its release. This fan has played the game at a local Target store, where the store has offered free demo gameplay of this title.

As of now, it’s confirmed that select Target stores have set up many Nintendo Switch consoles at their respective locations to provide a demo gameplay experience to their fans. Further, this feature is available at select Walmart and GameStop locations, too.

However, there is no confirmation of how many Target, GameStop, and Walmart outlets will avail of this offer. And also, there is no confirmation of how much of the game the demo lets you play. However, turns out many fans have already started making use of this offer. And they’ve taken to X (formerly Twitter) to share their joy.

Store demos is a popular concept. Electronic stores or stores of relevant brands usually have setups with games for testing. So giving fans the option to checkout the Super Mario Bros. Wonder demo is a huge win for fans.

One fan has shared his experience of playing the demo at a GameStop store, stating that they had a good time. Surely this is a good sign of things to come.

Unfortunately, not everyone has a store nearby with this setup.

Meanwhile, another fan wants them to “bring it on the Eshop.” While it would make it more accessible, this could be a strategic decision.
