One of the most well-known and significant personalities when it comes to streaming is none other than Kai Cenat. The 21-year-old streaming sensation has been crowned the king of Twitch following his recent subathon. On February 28, 2023, Kai broke all the previous records, becoming the most-subscribed streamer ever.
Cenat is known for his crazy shenanigans and hilarious wit, but there was a time when his audience became all teary instead of smiles. Although this was happy tears, it was definitely a first from the streamer. In one of his live streams, Kai was once called by his mother, who called him to let him know how proud she was of her son, who is the “number one!”

After reaching 80,000 subs, Kai was celebrating the feat with his friends and viewers, and that is when his mother called him. “Congratulations son! You are number one! And you my son! I am so happy to be your mom!” said Kai’s mom. The streamer was already in tears at this point, but his mom continued praising him.
“My son works hard! He is a grinder! Mafia I love you!” Kai’s mom further added. Listening to this, Kai was taken aback, completely shocked, and overwhelmed by the whole ordeal. Kai, who we never saw silent was seen sitting completely speechless. Rubbing off his tears, all he managed to say was, “Thank You”.

This, for one, was a very heartwarming incident that the fans were able to experience live on his stream. Along with him, the viewers also found it hard to suppress this emotional moment.
Is Kai joining Kick?

But ever since the achievement, Kai wasn’t offered any incentives or contracts from Twitch to motivate him to stay exclusive to the platform. All he got was a pair of Custom Air Force 1s.

But the scales were tipped when recently Kai even got banned from the platform, due to unknown reasons. That is when Twitch’s new arch-nemesis, Kick, shared that they will be the saviors Kai needs and deserves. Seeing the platform’s anticipation, loads of rumors have started cooking.

But blasting these rumors, Kai recently said to Adin Ross, “There’s no platform I care about.” With this statement, Kai cleared that there was no certain platform where he wants to stay at. This opens the doors to the possibility that, in the end, whichever platform will offer Kai a better deal will most probably secure the streamer.
