The testing will start very soon in the Philippines and Indonesia around this Autumn. Other major regions will also be added in the near future.

The test size will also increase with the addition of new regions. Unfortunately, the specific date of release hasn’t been announced yet. Hopefully, fans won’t have to wait too long to experience the mobile version of the popular Battlefield game.

How to pre-register for Battlefield Mobile

Interested players can easily pre-register the game from Google Play Store. Once they pre-register themselves successfully, they will be automatically informed about the date and arrival details. The playtest will be for Androids only.

However, pre-registering doesn’t really guarantee any slots with regard to the playtest, as the number of slots available is limited. The test invitation is based on a first come first serve basis, and the game is still in development right now.

Free-to-Play shooter game with in-game purchases

Electronic Arts also gave away some details about the upcoming battlefield Mobile in the forum post. As expected, Battlefield Mobile is going to be a free-to-play shooter with in-game purchases. The game will feature its own Battle Pass, costumes, unlockable items, and weapon skins.

Battlefield Mobile is only for mobile devices, so the game won’t feature any kind of cross-play. The upcoming mobile beta requires Android 7.0 or beyond. However, EA is planning to add more models in the future.

For now, the mobile version will only feature the Grand Bazar map and the classic Battlefield game mode. However, we can expect some more maps and modes in near future.
