For players who were highly upset with the huge 128 player battles in Battlefield 2042, DICE and Electronic Arts have finally heard your plea. As a pre-Christmas treat, Battlefield 2042 is all set to debut two new game modes for players.
Electronic Arts and DICE finally announced the 64 Player Conquest and Breakthrough mode for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC (next-gen consoles).
Both of these much-awaited modes are now available on the All-out Warfare menu. That said, 64 Player Conquest and Breakthrough are already available on the last-gen consoles as the last-gen consoles were limited to a small number of players per match due to some hardware factors.

However, after the official release of BF 2042, the majority of the players started to criticize the huge numbers of players (128 in one match) in the matches, despite it being one of the major marketing points used to hype gamers up prior to launch.
Some of the players complained that the map looks pretty spaced out with a huge number of players, making the experience not as ideal as people had hoped. As usual, BF 2042 took all the criticism and complaints in a healthy manner and introduced these two highly loved modes to Battlefield 2042.
Right now, both of these modes are only for a limited period of time.
It seems like the company is waiting for feedback and if feedback is majorly positive, then there is a great chance that EA and DICE might add the 64 Conquest mode permanently to the game.
It is the final update for Battlefield 2042 before Christmas time rolls around.
