The terrible revive mechanics in Battlefield 2042

Players are annoyed with this revive issue as the revive mechanics in the game are an absolute disaster. Players are avoiding reviving because it is difficult to tell where the medics are. The revive animation is so bad that it is completely impossible to tell whether the injured player is being revived.

Above all, right now, there is no medic indicator in the game. This single-handedly changes the entire game and gives an advantage to the enemies.

Another major issue with the mechanics is that previously, medics of the team just had to just punch the defibrillators to get the injured teammate back on their feet. It was a very simple, straightforward, quick method loved by every player. Now players first have to crouch over their injured teammate before preparing for the revive.

Basically, earlier, it was very easy to revive an entire squad in a single run. However, now, to make the revive process a little more realistic, DICE has changed the device mechanics.

The entire process now takes a while to complete. It also leaves the players open to enemy fire, and that is the last thing you want in Battlefield 2042. Most probably, DICE wants players to first carefully assess the situation before trying to revive someone, introducing an element of strategy in the game.

Right now, it is difficult to revive a teammate without being able to ping the other teammates about the approaching enemies. Also, DICE hasn’t spoken about this issue yet. But players are already requesting DICE to make the changes in the final version of the game.
