Electronic Arts announced this thrilling news with the release of a short film on YouTube named Exodus. Witness the events that will trigger the all-out war with this stand-alone short film set in the world of 2042.

Battlefield 2042 is a first-person shooter that marks the grand return to the iconic all-out warfare of the franchise. Squad up and bring a cutting-edge arsenal into dynamically changing Battlegrounds supporting 128 players with epic destruction. The short film focused more on narrative aspects of the game while creating a thrilling excitement for the new character.

Pre-order reward for all the Battlefield 2042 fans

Electronic Arts also confirmed this news officially on their website. According to a post on EA’s official website, Irish will be a reward for all the pre-order players, as he is a part of the pre-order program.

The actual skin that has been offered is the exact same outfit that the Irish wore in the recent Exodus short film. This is a celebration of the return of legendary Irish, so the skin will be available for players who purchase the game after release as well, but as an alternate version of the new character. The skin comes with all the details shown in the short film, such as gray camo, beige military pack as well as fluorescent yellow gloves. This reward is a very smart move to encourage more and more players to pre-order.
