EA DICE’s latest installment in the critically acclaimed Battlefield franchise, Battlefield 2042, had a disastrous launch, to say the least. The game was released without a campaign mode, hoping to persuade fans with its variety of multiplayer options. But it is safe to say, this was certainly not the case.

Now, in a sponsored stream on the popular Twitch channel, Crown, several famous content creators lived the true Battlefield 2042 experience, struggling to play the game as it “completely breaks” during the live stream.

Since its debut worldwide back in November 2021, the developers have made countless efforts to revive the game. However, they struggle to find an optimal solution, as the game continues to infuriate players with its intense glitches and bugs.

Now, the professionals experience a hilarious game-breaking glitch during an Electronic Arts-sponsored stream.

The stream featured popular streamers/content creators battling it out in the game. The event included content creators Brooke, Symfuhny, and Kyrstalogy. But the three soon find out why the game still ranks 14th on Steam’s Hall of Shame, the worst steam games of all time.

Following the conclusion of a round, the streamers respawn again to kick off the next one. But it wasn’t the traditional spawn location. The players find themselves stuck underneath a staircase, leading them to try everything in their playbook to set free. The hysterical efforts, including throwing hand grenades at each other, seem to fail until one of them successfully glides their way out.

The players, as well as the casters during the stream, do not acknowledge the bug, as everyone seemed to struggle to not laugh at the hilarious scenario. But the fans had a lot to say about the bug, the stream, and Battlefield 2042’s current state.

Fans on Twitter even pointing out the obvious, asked how Crown would decide the winner since the game still does not have its in-game scoreboard. The officials later revealed manually kept a count of each player’s kills. Bizarre, isn’t it? Well, that’s Battlefield 2042 for you.
