Those who have pre-ordered the game or have an EA Play subscription will get to play the game two days early, which is October 6. For PC, consoles, and all other platforms, Battlefield 2042 open beta begins on October 8.

The game will have next-gen graphics with ray-tracing and will be cross-progression and cross-commerce. This will give players an impression of what to expect later on when the full game arrives.
From the looks of it, both DICE and EA are confident about the state of the game. This open beta will further allow the developers to get crucial feedback from the players on problems or issues, which will help the developers to act on those factors.
