Just a few days back, Electronic Arts and developer DICE confirmed that Battlefield 2042 was being pushed back for beta and full release. While no such official dates haven’t been released for the beta launch, it seems like the dates are already out via certain sources and leaks.

Twitter user and dataminer Tom Henderson picked up on a leak from a Chinese website Bilibili, which stated that the beta was set to release on October 6 and might stay till October 9. However, that might not be the conclusion of the beta as further details are not known.

Battlefield 2042 beta dates leaked

Earlier last week, EA had confirmed that Battlefield 2042 was delayed to be released on 19th November 2021. They did not mention anything about the beta release, stating it will be out later at the end of September or the starting of October.

The devs announced this update on Twitter and stated that the delay was due to some unforeseen challenges by the development teams. This delay is understandable, as DICE did not want to compromise the quality of the gameplay by rushing through the development of the game.

The latest development regards Battlefield 2042’s release is the beta dates getting leaked on the internet by a Chinese website Bilibili. Tom Henderson posted this update on his page and stated that the beta was set to run from October 6 till October 9.

Comicbook Gaming has stated that this source can be trusted, as EA has listed an official streaming page for Battlefield 2042 on that site. While there has been no word from the developers as of now, these dates can be considered to be legitimate for the aforementioned reason.

Furthermore, while the site may state that the beta will run till October 9th, this does not necessarily mean that that would be the conclusion of the beta program. EA and DICE, with all their previous games, have let the trial phase run through the weekend, which means this would be the same case for Battlefield 2042.

Players who might have pre-ordered the game may receive access to the beta of the game before its release. For now, we need to wait for an official announcement by EA and DICE.
