Batman Arkham Knight is no doubt one of the best superhero games ever made. It might have some issues, namely “The Tank”. The game is still fun to play and would easily fit amongst any modern-day current-gen titles, despite being eight years old. But if a recent rumor is to be believed, this beautiful game is probably getting even better!
Rocksteady, the developer behind Arkham Knight, is currently hard at work on Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. But WB might have planned a side project for them—the project to bring Arkham Knight to next-gen consoles.

Arkham Knight is set to get a brand-new outfit! This one is based on a recent movie based on the superhero. The Batman starred Robert Pattinson; this version of the costume had a retro look to it and looked somewhat grounded. His vehicle, too, has a retro look to it. It would be exciting to drive around Gotham City in that Batmobile as Robert Pattinson Batman if they added the car skin to the game too. It is also being said that this game would also get a next-gen upgrade, which would bring many new-generation features such as ray tracing and 60FPS gameplay to this title.
Pattinson’s Batman suit was leaked online very recently in a now-deleted X post and now the status of this outfit is unknown. The next-gen version of Arkham Knight has appeared on and off over the past year. Maybe they will make it official once the Nintendo Switch version of Batman Arkham Collection launches. Fans who are interested can download the Robert Pattinson Batman skin right now.

When Batman Arkham Knight launched for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC back in 2015, the game was no doubt the best-looking game on those platforms. Yes, it launched with some technical issues, but those were eventually rectified. The title even went on to win several awards thanks to its excellent gameplay and storyline. It even had all the tropes of a superhero game: numerous villains, massive action set pieces, and numerous costumes to unlock and equip.
What about the Nintendo Switch 2 version, though?
One wonders: if Nintendo Switch can run Arkham Knight, would it be fair for Warner Bros. to not bring the game to Switch 2 with improved visuals? Hence, chances are that if this next-gen version gets announced sometime next year, fans can expect it to come to Nintendo’s next major console too.
