After months of rumors, Epic Games finally gave fans what they wanted. In early November, Fortnite OG was released which saw the return of the OG map from Chapter 1. Ahead of its release, Epic Games sent out mystery bundles to the OG streamers and brought some of them together to mark the occasion. However, not everything that the players hoped for returned in the OG chapter.

Over the years, Fortnite has introduced multiple skins and cosmetics that have been incredibly popular among fans. While some of these skins remain in the game since their introduction, several others have been banned for a plethora of reasons. Now that the OG Fortnite is back, here are 5 skins that also deserve a second chance in the looter-shooter title.

1. Neymar Jr. Skin

When the Neymar Jr. skin was first released in Fortnite Chapter 2, the skin came with a built-in emote. The emote replicated the popular celebration style of the Brazilian international and the skin also had a golden ball attached to the back of the character. Players quickly discovered that using a certain backlink, then using the emote and moving in a certain way could make their characters go completely invisible on the map. This advantage made Epic Games remove the skin from the game and sought to ban any player who used the Neymar Jr. skin.

2. Tsuki skin

Tsuki was added to Fortnite in Chapter 1. The character’s popularity prompted the devs to introduce new skins for Tsuki later on. However, one particular Tsuki cosmetic stuck with the fans for its apparent “brokenness”. The skin didn’t have any color tone and a white Tsuki could be seen trying to win rounds on UEFN Islands. The whitewashed skin was banned from the game for being unfinished, but the OG map surely deserves one of the older characters in the game!

3. Brilliant Bomber suit

The vibrant and colorful Brilliant Bomber skin was never officially released in Fortnite despite being observed multiple times in the game files. This skin was supposed to be available in Chapter 2 but never saw the sunshine ultimately. The skin wasn’t very rare and could be found in the Sunshine and Rainbows set.

4. Hat-wearing skins

Years ago, Epic Games broke Fortnite as they removed every single skin from the game that wore a hat. The devs went to some extreme lengths with the decision and even scrapped a Lava Legends Bundle Pack from the item shop because of the characters’ appearances. Characters who had hats would get banned from playing Fortnite, a rule that can surely be changed in the new OG map.

5. The Siren skin

The Siren skin was a pay-to-win cosmetic in Chapter 3 Season 4 of Fortnite. A Chrome Splash on the Siren Skin would make the character go completely dark which made it difficult for the enemies to spot Siren in the shadows or in darker areas of the map. The OG map will do away with many new features that were added to the game in later states. Hence, the SIren skin may be an advantage that many would want to have in their inventory.
