One of the key elements that make a game of this genre exciting is challenging boss battles. Elden Ring has a plethora of challenging battles for the players to stay hooked to this game. But there is one boss in the game whom every Elden Ring player cannot get enough of.
Every Elden Ring player wants to fight Malenia

On the first anniversary of Elden Ring, the game’s publisher Bandai Namco released some exciting stats related to the game. According to this stat, there have been over 5.9 billion boss fight attempts in the past year since the game hit the shelves.

The more intriguing fact about this stat was the most attempted boss fight in the game. Over 329 million Elden Ring players attempted to defeat Malenia, Blade of Miquella. But what makes this stat more surprising is that Malenia is not even a mandatory boss battle in the game.
Those who have played this 2022 Game of the Year title know that players can avoid fighting Malenia if they want. Not defeating the Blade of Miquella wouldn’t affect the game in any manner. A player can even go up against this Demi-God-type boss after completing the game’s main story.
But despite these facts, she is one of the bosses that literally the majority of the fans want to take down. The other most attempted boss fights in the game after Malenia is Margit, The Fell Omen; Limgrave Tree Sentinel; Radagon of the Golden Order; and Starscourge Radahn.

After seeing these stats by Bandai Namco, fans were reminded of how many trials they took before defeating Malenia, Blade of Miquella. Some fans were also stunned to see the numbers because of her being an optional boss to fight.
