Nintendo let players shoot the balloon in the sky through their trusty slingshot to get a present. In order to track down balloons in ACNH, the best way is to listen to in-game sounds. Usually, a balloon is accompanied by the whistling sound of the breeze it’s being carried on.

Thus, if you are wearing headphones, you will easily be able to track down the balloon’s location. Mostly, balloons appear to spawn on the fourth and ninth minute every 10-minute cycle, such as 7:04, 7:09, 7:14, 7:19.

By using a modded Switch, she could cross over the barriers and swim at a much faster speed. After three unsuccessful attempts, ceomg found out that after crossing the barrier, a few seconds later the balloon disappears into the ocean. She reveals that before despawning, the balloon starts to flow upwards and then suddenly disappears.
