The last night was a monumental moment for the UFC, and Israel Adesanya fans alike. The Last Stylebender went on to defeat Alex Pereira in their Middleweight main event. The fight was considered to be a one-sided affair, as Adesanya dominated Pereira in the octagon. However, what caught the eye of the gaming fans was something else. For FPS lovers, one action of The Last Stylebender had close ties with one of the veteran characters from the popular game, Valorant.
Valorant is known for its gunplay mechanics and its agent pool. For reference, the game is heavily oriented around each character/agent who fills in different roles in the game. There are entry fraggers, information gatherers, and agents who can lock a site down or even block vision.

Valorant’s Sova and Israel Adesanya
One prominent agent that has been in the game for a long time is Sova. The Russian initiator is one of the most recognizable agents in the game. His main utilities are oriented around his mechanical bow. The players who ‘main’ the agent are known to kill opponents without even shooting at them. As the agent is capable of eliminating targets with just his ability.

The gesture by Adesanya in the octagon, after punching down his opponent, caught the eye of the Valorant community, reminding them of Sova.
